Abstract:
To provide a lighting unit capable of preventing a cover from coming off from a housing in a case of being attached to an attachment hole of a lighting attachment member by rotation.SOLUTION: A lighting unit comprises: a housing 1 that has a component housing chamber 2 surrounded by a bottom wall 5 and a pair of side walls 6 erected from the bottom wall 5, and houses a light emitting diode 31 in the component housing chamber 2; and a lens cover 40 that is assembled from above the housing 1, and has a cover-side attachment part 45 that is mounted on the housing 1 by locking means 12 and 44 to close the opening of the component housing chamber 2 and can be rotatably attached to the attachment hole of a lighting attachment member. On the outer surface of the side wall 6 of the housing 1, a housing-side deformation restricting wall 10 is protruded. The lens cover 40 is provided with a cover-side deformation restricting wall 43 sandwiching the housing-side deformation restricting wall 10 and contacting with both side surfaces of the housing-side deformation restricting wall 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
