Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a woven fabric of cellulosic fiber having good feeling and a strength suiting to practical use by applying light napping to a woven cellulosic fiber fabric.
CONSTITUTION: A woven fabric made of a cellulosic fiber is subjected to thinning processing with a cellulose decomposition enzyme, relaxed in an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide without applying a tension or under application of a small tension and coated with a urethane resin containing a silicone-type softener.
