Abstract:

To produce lightweight concrete being lightweight equivalent to the lightweight first-class concrete being the typical high strength lightweight concrete of the lightweight concrete group and having strength characteristic far exceeding that of the lightweight first-class concrete and to provide a manufacturing method of this lightweight concrete.

This lightweight concrete comprises cement, water, coarse aggregate at least a part of which consists of ordinary aggregate and fine aggregate at least a part of which consists of lightweight aggregate. It is preferable that a water reducing agent is added and the water-cement ratio is made to be 25% or larger.
