Title:
LIGHTWEIGHT LIGNOCELLULOSE MOLDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2635520
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a lightweight lignocellulose molding which can be produced not only from fibrous lignocellulose but also from lignocellulose of all the shapes and is useful for thermal insulation, cushioning, sound absorption, etc.
CONSTITUTION: This molding has an almost open-celled structure and is produced from a compsn. comprising at least four components: lignocellulose; a water-sol. high-molecular compd. having a film tensile strength of 10-300MPa, a surface tension of a 0.4wt.% aq. soln. of 65-30mN/m at 20°C, and at least two hydroxyl groups in the molecule; a water-sol. high-molecular compd. having at least two carboxyl groups in the molecule and/or an anionic surfactant; and a high-molecular compd. having a film tensile strength of 0.1-10MPa, an elongation at break of 200-2,000%, a second order transition point of 30 to -40°C, and a cohesive energy density of 30-200cal/cc.
