Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lignin-containing biomass solid fuel with a small sulfur content, a high ratio of carbon to oxygen, and high heat generation efficiency.SOLUTION: A lignin-containing biomass solid fuel has a sulfur content of less than 1 mass% and a carbon content of 60 mass% or more and a carbon/oxygen mass ratio of 2 or more. In thermogravimetry and differential thermal analysis (TG-DTA), in a temperature-rise measurement from room temperature to 600°C at a rate of 10°C/min in the air, its resultant residue is 1% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
