Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lime mud recovery method which can obtain low water content lime mud when recovering lime mud from lime mud slurry generated in kraft pulp manufacturing.SOLUTION: A lime mud recovery apparatus includes: a storage tank which stores lime mud slurry 2; a cylindrical filter 4 whose lower part is immersed into the lime mud slurry 2 in the storage tank; pressure reducing means which reduces pressure inside the cylindrical filter 4; rotating means which rotates the inside of the cylindrical filter 4; and peeling means 6 which peels lime mud cake layered on the surface of the cylindrical filter 4. Spray means 5 for spraying a surfactant solution onto the lime mud cake is provided on the upstream side in the rotational direction of a peeling point which is a non-immersed part of the cylindrical filter 4 not immersed into the lime mud slurry and where the lime mud cake is peeled by the peeling means 6.
