Abstract:
PURPOSE: To develop a line pipe for petroleum and natural gas excellent in corrosion resistance in corrosive environment and weldability by forming the pipe with a double-layered structure consisting of an inner layer of high-Cr steel and an outer layer of low-alloy steel.
CONSTITUTION: A line pipe for the fluid such as petroleum and natural gas having corrosive components such as wet CO2 and H2S is formed with a double- layered structure consisting of the inner and outer layers. The inner layer in direct contact with the fluid is made of a high-Cr steel contg. 7.5-16% by weight of Cr, 0.01-1.0% Si, 0.01-3.0% Mn, <0.03% C, <0.02% N and one or ≥2 kinds among 0.1-1.0% of Nb, V and Zr and fulfilling the inequality, and the thickness is controlled to ≤25% of the total thickness. The outer layer is made of a low-alloy steel contg. 0.02-0.25% C, 0.01-1.0% Si, 0.05-2.0% Mn, 0.005-0.1% Al and <0.015% P and <0.005% S as the impurities. A line pipe excellent in corrosion resistance and weldability is obtained in this way.
