PURPOSE: To provide an on-line service system with which a users can easily use various services that may be increased in future.
CONSTITUTION: An on-line service system consists of a center where various types of information are stored, a means which distributes the information sent from the center to many information terminals, an information terminal 101 which displays the information sent from the center, an input means which inputs the requests of users to the terminal 101, and a means which transmits the request information given from the users to the center. When a user selects a function through the center, the various types of information are presented to the user in a virtual shopping district metaphor. The terminal 101 shows various types of information also in a virtual shopping district metaphor and instructs the user to select these information. So that the user can easily use various on-line services in the computer game feeling.
