Abstract:
To provide an injection molding machine wherein failure caused by heating of a coil is prevented.
An electric injection molding machine 20 comprises a barrel 51 which houses a screw, a voice coil type linear motor 52 which moves the screw in the axial direction, etc. The voice coil type linear motor 52 comprises a coil 80, a yoke provided along the coil 80, and a magnet 82 which axially moves relative to the coil 80. The electric injection molding machine 20 comprises, as a means for cooling the coil 80, a refrigerant flow path provided to the yoke and a cooling device 123. The temperature of the coil 80 or the refrigerant is detected, and based on the detected temperature, the refrigerant is controlled.
