Abstract:
To provide a linear motor in which an armature core 31 can be fastened to a fixed base 6 without causing deterioration in a thrust force.
The armature core 31 of this linear motor 1 includes a laminate of magnetic pole teeth 311 having an attaching portion 311a protruding in the direction of an adjacent armature 3, and is fastened to the fixed base 6 on the attaching portion 311a. A magnetic flux for generating a thrust force hardly flows. Since the fixed base 6 and the armature 3 are fixed on the attaching portion of the magnetic pole teeth 311 protruding in the direction of the adjacent armature 3, the linear motor 1 can be prevented from deterioration in a thrust force without inhibiting the flow of magnetic flux.
