Title:
LINEAR MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3528686
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost linear motor which is easy to assemble for moving a pair of movable members symmetrically with respect to one stator, and preventing the difference in thrust force between tow movable members, even when power is fed for a power feeding cable from one end thereof.
SOLUTION: In a linear motor, conductive patterns 26a and 26b of first and second power feeding cables 22 and 23 are dislocated by a pitch (P) of magnetic poles of magnets 6 of a stator, so that the power feeding directions for each movable member 13 become reversed to each other. Each movable member 11 is located at positions equal in distance from a connection part, at a center of the linear motor, between the first and second power feeding cables 22 and 23, so that each length of power feeding paths to the movable members 11 is made equal. Since drop in power feeding voltage is made equal and there is no difference in thrust force between moving members 11, balance of movement is kept adequately there moving members 11 move smoothly. In addition, the power feeding cable 21 is manufactured at a low cost with superior assembling characteristics as well.
