Abstract:
To provide a linear motor capable of improving system performance while improving installation freedom.SOLUTION: The linear motor includes: a stator 11 that has an armature consisting of an iron core and winding wire; and a mover 12 that has permanent magnets 124a and 124b each having a first side facing the stator 11 and a second side and which moves relative to stator 11. Between the stator 11 and the mover 12, multiple gaps g1 and g2 are formed, armature 11A facing the first side of mover 12 is larger than armature 11B facing the second side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
