PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear component transport apparatus capable of transporting a linear components, such as a cable and a hose, without damaging the linear component and without requiring needless force, and with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A linear component transport apparatus for transporting a linear component, such as a cable and hose, includes: a fixing part which comes into contact with an obstacle and is positionally fixed by the obstacle; a rotor that has a peripheral surface in contact with a linear component and transports the linear component by rotation; a sensor to detect a position at which the linear component is contacted with the rotor; and a signal output unit to output a detection signal of a detection result obtained by the sensor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
