PURPOSE: To reduce lining costs of a hollow body having a small diameter and a long length by coating the outside surface of a core bar with a lining material previously, performing prevention of peeling, and transferring the lining material to the hollow body by inserting the core bar into the body.
CONSTITUTION: The outside surface of the core bar 2 is coated with a lining material 3 such as an anticorrosion and wear-resistant alloy, etc. previously and evenly by thermal spraying or build up welding. Next, the surface of the material 3 is formed into a rugged surface or a surface having uneven diameters along the axis and a thin diffusion layer 7 is formed on the surface to prevent peeling or turning. The core bar 2 and the hollow body 1 are integrated by drawing action or the like after inserting the core bar 2 into the body 1. The body 1 integrated with the bar 2 is heated in an inactive gas at the melting point of the diffusion layer 7 and the bar 2 is removed from the body 1. The method reduces lining costs by easy lining of hollow bodies having a small diameter and a long length.
