Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lining paper for wall paper which has high opacity and high productivity and which serves as a support medium for a decorative layer made out of vinyl chloride resin or olefin resin.SOLUTION: The lining paper of the present invention contains 20.0% or more of kraft pulp with ISO whiteness of 20.0 to 60.0%. Preferably, the kraft pulp with ISO whiteness of 20.0 to 60.0% is one derived from broad leaf trees. In one embodiment, the lining paper contains synthetic fiber in addition to the kraft paper by 5 to 50% based on the whole lining paper. Also, the lining paper of the present invention preferably has opacity of 85.0 to 99.0% and ISO whiteness of 30.0 to 60.0%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
