PURPOSE: To perform compact and good-looking external lining of a pipe with thermoplastic film by contacting fused and extruded thermoplastic resin film with the exterior of a revolving pressing body and making the same to wind around the exterior of a pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The film 2 extruded from the extruder 1 is made to first contact a cylindrical revoling pressing body. Said revolving body 3 is in contact with a pipe 4 and with the revolving of the pipe, said pressing body revolves in an opposite direction to the pipe shown with an arrow. The film 2 on the revolving pressing body 3 revolves together with the revolving pressing body keeping contact with the revolving pressing body and contacts the pipe to be spirally wound around the pipe 4. At this time the revolving pressing body 3 plays the role of pressing the film 2 on the pipe 4. The pipe 4 is preferably in advance to be heated up to the temperature above the melting point of thermoplastic resin tobe wound around.
