Abstract:
To improve fatigue strength on a link plate for a silent chain.
A cutout 22a is formed on an edge part of a pin hole 22 on a link plate 2. Consequently, it is possible to generate high residual compression stress on a cutout forming point and a region of the edge part of its periphery after prestress driving, and consequently, it is possible to further improve fatigue strength of the link plate 2.
