Title:
LINT REMOVAL APPARATUS FOR DRIER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08240386
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate inconveniences of the amount of air being reduced followed by reduction of drying capability when a filter is clogged and of the need of man power although lint produced in a drier is removed by the filter.

CONSTITUTION: An endless mesh belt 14 is horizontally laid at an air outlet 3c of a drier, and a vacuum port 34 is opened onto the mesh belt. With a driving roller 15a being rotated, the mesh belt 14 is moved across an exhaust duct 20, and lint on the mesh belt 14 is sucked into the vacuum port 34. The lint contained in exhaust sucked from the vacuum port 34 is removed with a lint collection bag 18 and the exhaust passes through an air suction pipe 19 to a suction port of a wet elimination fan, and joins the exhaust passing through the exhaust duct 20 and is discharged. Since the mesh belt is always cleaned and hence ventilation resistance is not larger, the amount of air is kept large. Since the wet elimination fan serves also as a suction head, another fan is unnecessary.
