Abstract:
To provide a lipolysis promoter and a body slenderizing method effective for ameliorating adipogenic constitution by promoting decreasing systemic or local adipose tissue or inhibiting or preventing obesity by preventing increase of the adipose tissue.
This lipolysis promoter is shown by the general formula (1) (wherein, R is H, a saturated or unsaturated straight- or branched-chain 1-12C hydrocarbon group, glucose residue, quinic acid residue or shikimic acid residue; and a wavy line denotes a single or double bond). A skin care preparation and a food/drink composition each containing the promoter are also provided.
