Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a liquefaction strength curve at a high accuracy even when a number of specimens is small.SOLUTION: A first arithmetic operation section 20 of a liquefaction strength curve generation device 14 calculates energy consumption by a specimen 48. The first arithmetic operation section 20 also generates a relationship between an increment in normalized cumulative energy consumption and a repeated stress ratio of repeated loading, the increment in the normalized cumulative energy consumption being derived by dividing the cumulative energy consumption by effective constraint pressure at a time of start of n-th repeated loading. Furthermore, the first arithmetic operation section 20 generates a relationship between the normalized cumulative energy consumption and an excessive pore water pressure ratio, the normalized cumulative energy consumption being derived by dividing the cumulative energy consumption by the n-th effective constraint pressure ratio. A second arithmetic operation section 22 calculates a number of repeated loading necessary for liquefying soil of the specimen 48, based on the relationships between the increment in the normalized cumulative energy consumption and the repeated stress ratio of the repeated loading, and between the normalized cumulative energy consumption and the excessive pore water pressure ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
