Abstract:
A liquefied gas storage tank equipped with: a container main body (60), the interior of which holds liquefied gas and which has a design pressure capable of pressures up to a pressure greater than the atmospheric pressure at the location where installed; discharge piping (63), which is provided from the interior to the exterior of the container main body (60), one end of which opens within a liquid phase (L) of the liquefied gas in the interior of the container main body (60), the other end of which is arranged outside of the container main body (60), and in the interior of which a discharge flow passage (64) for the liquefied gas is formed; and a communication section (65), which enables communication between the discharge flow passage (64) and a location where a gas phase (L) of the liquefied gas exists in the interior of the container main body (60).
