To provide a liquid absorptive measuring instrument having an advantage provided in a conventional automatic scanning liquid absorption meter, capable of measuring accurately and easily a change of an absorption behavior due to a temperature, and capable of reducing dispersion of measured results caused by the temperature.
This liquid absorptive measuring instrument provided with a turn table 11, a liquid supply head 13 for scanning a measuring paper sheet M mounted on the turn table 11, from an upper side thereof, a communication pipe 16 communicated with the liquid supply head 13 and for introducing a liquid capillary-absorbed in the measuring paper sheet M into an inside, and a measuring mechanism for detecting a meniscus of the liquid generated in a liquid peripheral edge part in an inside of the communication pipe 16, and for measuring the measuring paper sheet M, based on information as to transfer accompanying the capillary absorption of the meniscus, is provided with a paper sheet heating means 40 for heating the measuring paper sheet M on the turn table 11, a liquid heating means 50 for heating the liquid in the inside of the communication pipe 16, and a control means 30 for controlling the heating means.
