Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely stir the precipitate of a coating liquid even around the valve seat of a liquid applicator for writing means, cosmetics, etc., and to enable the user to completely use the coating liquid in a shaft cylinder to the last drop.
CONSTITUTION: This writing means has balls 5 for stirring disposed in the shaft cylinder 1, a valve stem 6 disposed at the front end in the shaft cylinder 1, the valve seat 2 fitted into the opening at the front end of the shaft cylinder 1 and a pen core 10 disposed in front of this valve stem 6. The valve seat 2 has a large-diameter cylindrical part 2b fitted into a mouth part 1a and a small-diameter cylindrical part 2c projected backward within the shaft cylinder 1. This small-diameter cylindrical part 2c has plural arm parts 2c1 and openings 2f formed between the adjacent arm parts 2c1. The balls 5 for stirring are set at a size at which the balls are movable axially between the openings 2f and the inner peripheral surface of the shaft cylinder between the adjacent arm parts 2c1. The rear ends of the arm parts 21c are provided with slopes 2h for guiding the balls 5 for stirring to the parts between the openings 2f and the inner peripheral surface in the shaft cylinder.
