To obtain a liq. bleaching agent compsn. which has viscosity changing little with temp. and has a stable quality.
This compsn. contains 0.1-10 wt.% hydrogen peroxide, 2-30 wt.% nonionic surfactant of the formula: R-(OCH2CH2)n-OH [wherein R is an 8-18C alkyl; and (n) is the average number of moles of ethylene oxide added], 0.1-10 wt.% anionic surfactant, and 0.01-5 wt.% sequestering agent and has a viscosity at 20°C of 10-200 mPa.s, provided the nonionic surfactant is characterized in that (a) (n) is 4-20, (b) the content of an unreacted alcohol is 5 wt. % or lower, and (c) the content of molecules with the max. mol.wt. is 40-70 wt.%; the ratio of anionic surfactant to nonionic surfactant is 0.05-2; and the ratio of viscosity at 10°C to 30°C of the compsn. is 0.5-1.0.
