Abstract:
To prepare a cleansing cosmetic for removing an oily stain, in which aqueous face washing is not essential after cleansing.
This cleansing cosmetic comprises (1) an antimicrobial polyhydric alcohol, (2) an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer and/or its salt and (3) a polyoxyethylene fatty acid glyceryl ester. One or more kinds selected from dipropylene glycol, isoprene glycol, 1,2-pentanediol, 1,2-hexanediol, 2,4-hexylene glycol and 1,2-octanediol are preferable as the antimicrobial polyhydric alcohol. A polyoxyethylene coconut oil fatty acid glyceryl ester and/or a polyoxyethylene isostearic acid glyceryl ester is preferable as the polyoxyethylene fatty acid glyceryl ester.
