Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal dispensing apparatus capable of easily controlling dropping amount by controlling tension of a spring mounted on one end part of a needle which is brought into contact with an opening formed on a needle sheet and opens the opening.
SOLUTION: The liquid crystal dispensing apparatus is constituted so that it comprises a liquid crystal filling means by which filled liquid crystal is dropped, the needle sheet 143 formed on a lower part of the liquid crystal filling means, the needle 136 which is inserted into the liquid crystal filling means to be transferred up and down, brought into contact with the opening 144 and by which the opening of the needle sheet is opened or shielded by mounting the spring 128 on one end part, bringing the other end part into contact with the opening of the needle sheet and being transferred up and down, a spring tension adjusting means 152 that controls time when the opening of the needle sheet is opened by adjusting the tension of the spring, a needle transfer means that transfers the needle up and down and a nozzle 145 which is mounted on a lower part of the liquid crystal filling means and drops the liquid crystal on a substrate.
