Abstract:
To prevent spreading of a sealant and improve the adhesiveness between a color filter substrate and a TFT substrate.SOLUTION: A color filter substrate is used which has at least a black matrix layer, a plurality of color pixel layers, and a spacer layer on a transparent substrate, and further includes a display having the color pixel layer formed thereon and a frame part on the peripheral part of the display. The frame part has a structure in which the black matrix layer and two or more color pixel layers are laminated, and its top layer is made of the same material as that of at least one color pixel layer of the plurality of color pixel layers and has a concavo-convex shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
