Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize the switching element which does not have any difference in electric characteristics due to a difference in the polarity of a voltage and is greatly reducible in element area and free from a disconnection at an element part, to realize the lowcost liquid crystal display device of high picture quality and high quality by using the switching element, and to reduce the cost of the switching element by offering the new manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION:This switching element consists of a metallic conductor 10, two insulating films 11 and 12, an intermediate metallic electrode 13, and a metallic electrode 14 and has a structure which is symmetrical in the flowing direction of a current. Further, the anode oxidation of a metallic film which is machined in a hole shape is performed to form two insulating layers at the same time.
