Abstract:
PURPOSE:To lower the probability that a scanning signal line and a video signal line are short-circuited by providing a thin film transistor on the part in which the scanning signal line and the video signal line become parallel to each other. CONSTITUTION:A gate electrode GT1 is provided on about the center part of the part in which a scanning signal line GL and a video signal line DL become parallel to each other. Also, a thin film transistor TFT10 is constituted of the gate electrode GT1, an i type semiconductor layer AS1, a drain electrode SD21, and a source electrode SD11, and the thin film transistor TFT10 is provided on about the center part of the part in which the scanning signal line GL and the video signal line DL become parallel to each other. In such a way, since the thin film transistor TFT10 is provided on the part in which the scanning signal line GL and the video signal line DL become parallel to each other, it is unnecessary to place a gate electrode in parallel to a vertical part of the video signal line DL. In such a way, there is scarcely the part in which the scanning signal line GL and the video signal line DL approach each other, and the probability that the scanning signal line GL and the video signal line DL are short-circuited becomes low.
