Title:
LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04181223
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a minute current from leaking and to keep crosstalk to the minimum by constituting conducting particles contained in an interposed anisotropic conducting adhesive of two or more kinds of conducting materials and connecting between respective electrodes. CONSTITUTION:The conducting particles 5 and 5' whose conducting material is a dissimilar metallic material and which are dispersed and contained in an anisotropic conducting adhesive film between a wiring pattern 2 and the lead 6 of a driving IC 7 are constituted of two kinds of different materials. An anisotropic conducting adhesive sheet is arranged so that solder balls whose particle size is 12mum+ or -4mum and nickel metallic powder whose particle size is 10mum+ or -2mum are dispersed and mixed to be equal at weight ratio in the packaging area of the lead 6 whose entire width is 3mm. Then, it is press-bonded by using a press-bonding machine. Thus, a driving current is supplied through a path such as the IC 7 the lead 6 the conducting particles 5 and 5' the pattern 2 in a liquid crystal display device, and connection resistance is made small even though the connection area between the electrodes becomes small.
