Abstract:
To solve the problem of luminescent point defect being caused when transition is not certain for OCB type liquid crystal display elements.
Voltage supplying is made certain by making a power supply system which supplies transition waveforms as an independent system or by generating the system within a module or by sharing the system with gates, and the module constitution is simplified. Moreover, the applied voltage of transition waveforms is improved by varying the source amplitude during a transition interval, or the voltage of the transition waveforms is improved by a capacitive coupling drive or disturbance is given by making the source waveforms into an alternative form, so that transition tends to occur.
