PURPOSE: To improve a display effect, by sealing liquid crystal between a pair of transparent glass plates having transparent electrodes and by interposing them between two polarizing plates into a sandwitch and by forming the display surface into a curved face to display information stereoscopically by bending glass plates and polarizing plates.

CONSTITUTION: Two glass plates 1 and 2, which interpose liquid crystal 3 and seal it, and polarizing plates 4 and 5 are bent to form the display surface into a curved face. Consequently, transparent electrodes 6 and 7 are bent also, and one glass plate 1 is protruded greatly, and transparent electrode 6 of the protruded part is exposed as an electric connection terminal to various devices. For example, sphere 8 of a terrestrial globe is formed by arranging many crescent panels 9 of liquid crystal display elements. Time display part 10 is provided at the center of each panel, and an electric field is applied to the whole of the surface of panel 9 to make panel 9 luminous, and plural buttons 13 provided to pedestal 12 are depressed to not only display a desired region but also display the time of the region on time display part 10, thus improving the display effect.
