PURPOSE: To generate no spark by static electricity in a display segment part by constituting so that a surface vertical to a rubbing direction of an oriented film is separated at a specified position, when said surface has been moved in the rubbing direction.

CONSTITUTION: Discharge terminals 13a, 13f and 13g are formed on electrode segments 8a, 8f and 8g so that a surface vertical to a rubbing direction A is separated from the electrode segments 8a, 8f and 8g at a position separated from inclined surface parts 12a, 12f and 12g, when said vertical surface has been moved in the direction A. Accordingly, a rubbing cloth is separated at the discharge terminal 13a, the discharge terminal 13f and the discharge terminal 13g, with regard to the electrode segment 8a, the electrode segment 8f and the electrode segment 8g, respectively, therefore, an electrostatic spark is generated in a part separated from display segments 11aW11g, and a drop of a display quality is not generated.
