Abstract:
To provide a display device in which flickering of screen is suppressed and resolution is high.
In field sequential drive method, the drive method comprises the processes of dividing a picture 1 frame into a plurality of sub frames, namely, dividing picture 1 frame interval into a plurality of sub frames interval in time-sharing; displaying pictures corresponding to red, green and blue in each sub frame interval; lighting backlights of red, green and blue in order when executing displays corresponding to these colors; and supplying light to an indicator.
