Abstract:

To provide a liquid crystal display unit that is able to improve protection for an FPC and also able to improve the connection reliability of an FPC connector.

A liquid crystal display unit has an FPC 19 connected to an FPC connector 42 on the internal surface 21b of an LCD control circuit board 20 whose one end is connected to a liquid crystal display panel 11 and other end is inserted in the bottom wall part 13a of an LCD case 13 and arranged opposite the external surface of the bottom wall part 13a. The external surface of the bottom wall part 13a has a restriction rib 138 projecting toward cable pressing means 422 on the LCD control circuit board 20. The leading end of the restriction rib 138 restricts movement of the cable pressing means 422 to a cable open position.
