Title:
LIQUID CRYSTAL MODULE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010176955
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a liquid crystal module mounting a quasi-U-shaped backlight capable of corresponding to a narrowed framing or irregular pitches of the backlight, and also capable of cost reduction.

The liquid crystal module is to be provided with backlights 31, 32, 33 structured in a quasi-U shape by soldering 3e low-voltage side pin terminals 3b, 3b of two parallel straight cold-cathode tubes 3a, 3a to tin-plated steel-sheet connecting plates 3c on a rear side. As the quasi-U-shaped backlights are structured with the use of the connecting plates 3c needless to be bent in a lateral U shape for slackening, they are enabled to correspond to the narrow framing, and, as the connecting plates with different pitches of terminal insertion holes 3d, 3d at either end are used, the irregular pitches of the backlights can be dealt with, and further, cost reduction is attained by using the tin-plated steel-sheet connecting plates 3c.
