To provide a liquid crystal panel, having polarizing plates disposed on both sides of a liquid crystal cell, and to provide a liquid crystal panel hardly causing display uneveness in a moisturized environment, even when the polarizing plate in the backlight side is integrated with a luminance-improving film.

The liquid crystal panel has integrated optical members laminated on both sides of a liquid crystal cell, each optical member having at least a polarizing plate having transparent protective films on both sides of a polarizer. The optical member in the backlight side has layers of at least the polarizing plate and a luminance-improving film. The polarizing plate in the viewing side has a polyester base film layered on the transparent protective film closer to the viewing side than to the polarizer.
