Title:
LIQUID CRYSTAL PROJECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05150212
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of lateral stripes at the time of enlargement projection on a screen even if picture elements of liquid crystal are rough. CONSTITUTION:When a projection image is formed by putting three liquid crystal panels PR, PG, and PB one over another, one picture element of the liquid crystal projector, e.g. picture element PB of the liquid crystal panel is arranged at the reference position of an opening part 10 and shifts in the up- down direction (longitudinal direction) orthogonal to the picture elements PB of the liquid crystal panels which are arrayed linearly in one direction (longitudinal direction). In this case, the picture elements PR between the picture elements PR and PG of other two liquid crystal panels are shifted upward from the picture elements PB of the liquid crystal panel and the picture elements PG of the liquid crystal panels are shifted down.
