Title:
LIQUID DEODORANT AND ELIMINATION OF SULFUR COMPOUND IN GAS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000070351
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a liquid deodorant easily adjustable in component concentration according to a service condition, easily manufactured and hardly degraded in performance by oxidation or the like, and provide a method for eliminating a sulfur compound in gas using this liquid deodorant.

This liquid deodorant comprises an aqueous solution containing a polyamine compound having three or more amino groups containing at least one secondary amine, in one molecule, and copper. The mol ratio of bivalent copper to the polyamine compound is in a range of 1-0.3. The method for eliminating a sulfur compound in gas by bringing exhaust gas containing the sulfur compound into contact with this liquid deodorant makes continuous exhaust gas treatment possible economically for many hours particularly when the quantity (mol) of copper in the liquid deodorant coming into contact with the exhaust gas in an exhaust gas treating device is equal to or more of the concentration (μmol/L) of the sulfur compound in the exhaust gas × exhaust quantity (L/min) fed into the exhaust gas treating device × 600 (min).
