Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a liquid developer compsn. which obviates the generation of solvent vapor from an image forming device or a resulted copy or print.
CONSTITUTION: This liquid developer contains a coloring agent and a curable liquid vehicle having a viscosity not larger than about 500 centipoises and a resistance value not smaller than about 108ohm-cm. One embodiment includes the electrophorectic liquid crystal developer contg. the curable liquid vehicle of the mass quantity having the viscosity not larger than about 20 centipoises and the resistance value not smaller than about 5×109Ω-cm, a charge control agent and color grains capable of developing an electrostatic image by electrostatic charging and migrating through the liquid vehicle.
