Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid developer exhibiting excellent storage stability and fixability and giving excellent image density in continuous printing without degradation in qualities.SOLUTION: The liquid developer comprises at least a binder resin (A), a colorant (B), a polymer dispersant (C), a carrier liquid (D), and an antioxidant (E). The binder resin (A) contains at least a polyester resin; the carrier liquid (D) comprises an aliphatic hydrocarbon having a dry point of 180°C to 280°C in a distillation range; and the antioxidant (E) can be dissolved by 10 mass% or more at 25°C in the carrier liquid (D).
