Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable calculating, for a plurality of kinds of dilution source fluids diluting a base liquid such as a lubricant, a dilution rate of the base liquid with each of the dilution source fluids.SOLUTION: A liquid dilution rate measurement device 10 comprises a reservoir 18, a pair of radiation detectors 20A, 20B, a counter, a liquid distance variable mechanism (a movable partition 24, a partition actuator 26, and a partition control unit 27), and a computation unit 38. The reservoir 18 reserves a base liquid which can contain a positron emitting nuclide and be diluted with a first and a second fluid. The liquid distance variable mechanism adjusts a base liquid distance along an axis C1 to an insensitive distance where change in a count of an annihilation gamma-ray detected simultaneously by the pair of the radiation detectors 20A, 20B corresponding to change in a dilution rate of the base liquid with one of the first and second fluid is suppressed. The computation unit 38 computes the dilution rate of the base liquid with the other of the first and second fluid based on the count obtained by the counter.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
