Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge device capable of applying a reducing agent to the whole linear medium.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device according to an embodiment of the present invention dyes a linear medium by discharging liquid. The liquid discharge device has a first discharge part to discharge a first liquid and apply the first liquid to the linear medium, a second discharge part to discharge a second liquid containing a reducing agent and apply the second liquid to the linear medium, and a control part to apply the second liquid so as to cover a circumference of the linear medium to which the first liquid is applied by controlling respective operations of the first discharge part and the second discharge part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
