Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge device which enables further reduction of a possibility that a liquid of an incorrect color or type is supplied to a liquid storage container, and to provide a liquid supply container.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device has restriction means which restricts shifting from a state that a cover member covers an opening of a liquid storage container and a state that the opening is exposed. A first portion for preventing incorrect supply of the liquid to a storage part of a liquid supply container is fitted in a second portion of the liquid discharge device to release restriction by the restriction means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
