When flushing is performed and a carriage 2 is moved to a position in which the carriage faces a flushing form 11, a turning lever 14 is pushed by the carriage 2, and the turning lever 14 and an eccentric cam 13 are turned. When the eccentric cam 13 is turned, a part of its outer peripheral surface 13a in contact with the flushing form 11 is moved upward and the flushing form 11 is lifted upward. At this time, when a parameter T which has been performed by then exceeds a threshold value T1, a distance between an ink discharge surface 3a and an upper surface 11a of the flushing form 11 is made larger than a case when the parameter T is less than the threshold value T1 by adjusting a position of the carriage 2 and adjusting a turning angle of the turning lever 14.
