Abstract:
To provide a technique capable of preventing erroneous opening/closing of a valve in an ink supply passage.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device includes: a container for storing liquid supplied to discharge means for discharging the liquid; a first cover part which is movable between a close position for covering an injection part of the liquid provided in the container and an open position for permitting access to the injection part; a second cover part which is movable between a close position for covering the first cover part and an open position for openably/closably exposing the first cover part; and a valve for opening/closing a passage communicating with an inside of the container, wherein the valve blocks the passage in conjunction with movement to the open position of the first cover part, and opens the passage in conjunction with movement to the close position of the second cover part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
