To provide a liquid droplet jetting apparatus equipped with a protecting structure which surely protects a jet orifice surrounding region of a liquid droplet jetting surface and is resistant to drop from the liquid droplet jetting surface, and to provide its manufacturing method.
An inkjet head has the liquid droplet jetting surface 3a where a jet orifice 54a of a nozzle 54 to jet liquid droplets is arranged. A filling hole 66 is formed at a position near the jet orifice 54a of the liquid droplet jetting surface 3a, which is open to the liquid droplet jetting surface 3a and is larger in diameter at a deep part from the liquid droplet jetting surface 3a than at an opening part. A fluid material is filled in the filling hole 66 and solidified in a state while partly projecting from the opening part of the filling hole 66, whereby a projection 65 projecting from the liquid droplet jetting surface 3a is formed.
