Abstract:
To provide a liquid ejection device excellent in position correction accuracy in a direction intersecting a conveying direction of a web conveyed under tension.SOLUTION: A liquid ejection device according to one aspect of the present invention includes: conveying means for conveying a long web in a conveying direction under tension; ejecting means for ejecting liquid onto the web conveyed by the conveying means; first movement means for moving the ejecting means in a width direction intersecting the conveying direction; output means for outputting position information of the web in the width direction; second movement means for moving the output means in the width direction; first control means for controlling movement by the first movement means based on an output result of the output means; and second control means for changing a position of the output means in the width direction by controlling movement by the second movement means based on length information of the web in the width direction and stretchable range information of the web in the width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
