Abstract:
To provide a liquid discharge device which can stably discharge droplets in a wide temperature range.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device 20 comprises: a correction coefficient calculation circuit 50 which calculates a first temperature correction coefficient or a second temperature correction coefficient on the basis of a temperature detected by a thermistor 27; and a drive signal correction circuit 60 which corrects a reference drive signal S with the first temperature correction coefficient or the second temperature correction coefficient. When an amount of change in drive voltage at a minimum potential of a third drive pulse P3 corrected with the first temperature correction coefficient or the second temperature correction coefficient is represented by ΔV3 and an amount of change in drive voltage at a minimum potential of a fourth drive pulse is represented by ΔV4, the relationship of ΔV3<ΔV4 is established when the temperature detected by the thermistor 27 is lower than a reference temperature, and the relationship of ΔV3>ΔV4 is established when the temperature detected by the thermistor 27 is higher than the reference temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
