Abstract:
To suppress an image quality from deteriorating even if an abnormal state occurs.SOLUTION: A control device of a printer executes: abnormality processing in which abnormality flag information showing occurrence of an abnormal state is memorized in a flash memory; first inspection processing in which when a time signal showing a predetermined time is received, detection of abnormal nozzles is performed and the nozzles determined to be abnormal are memorized in the flash memory; and recovery processing in which if the abnormal flag information is not memorized in the flash memory when a recording command signal is received, suction purge is performed when the number of abnormal nozzles memorized in the flash memory is more than a first threshold, and if the abnormal flag information is memorized in the flash memory, the suction purge is performed when the number of abnormal nozzles memorized in the flash memory is more than a second threshold smaller than the first threshold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
